Delivery

  1. We aim to deliver all ‘express’ items within 5 working days. Stock items required urgently can be dispatched on an overnight carrier at additional cost. For all other items the delivery lead time is shown on the individual product screen. Please note that large quantities and any orders that have added to them additional finishes e.g. RAL coatings may take significantly longer. If any delays on your deliveries are anticipated, we shall inform you by email.
  2. Your order may arrive in more than one delivery as goods are manufactured at different locations in the UK.
  3. Any carriage charges shown refer to deliveries anywhere in mainland United Kingdom. For orders to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and the Scottish Islands and Highlands additional carriage charges will apply and you are requested to contact us for prices before you place your order.
  4. We shall deliver the goods to the premises you specify on your order. Someone must be available to accept delivery of your order, which is normally between 9:00am and 6:00pm Monday-Friday. We will not accept responsibility for loss or damage if you instruct the delivery company to leave the goods unattended.
  5. Disposal of packing materials is your responsibility.
  6. If there is no one to accept the order on the scheduled delivery date, the goods may be returned to the factory and we reserve the right to charge you an additional re-delivery charge.
  7. If you change the delivery address once the goods have been despatched to you, we reserve the right to pass on any charges made by our carriers for re-directing the delivery.
  8. Please check the goods on delivery – any goods found to be missing or damaged should be notified to the delivery driver at the time of delivery or ourselves within a reasonable time.
  9. If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let us know promptly.
  10. Deliveries are made to a ground floor entrance only and on the condition that there is reasonable access for the safe and prompt delivery of the goods. You should tell us about any special delivery requirements or conditions when you place your order.
  11. Sometimes, for reasons beyond our control, we may be prevented from delivering your goods as planned. These might include things such as accidents, breakdowns, fire, flood, storm, severe weather, acts of god, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage or the default of our suppliers. We will try to put things right as soon as possible however we cannot be responsible where this causes a delay or failure in delivering your goods.
  12. Time is not the essence of the contract unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by a Director of the Company.
  13. Free delivery is available on orders where the nett (excl. VAT) value of the goods is greater than £75.00.

Returns

Cancellation and Returns – Private Consumers

  1. This policy does not apply to any items which have manufactured to order.
  2. You can cancel your contract at any time up to 14 days after the day of delivery. To do this, please e-mail, fax or write to us. We are unable to accept cancellations by phone.
  3. You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.
  4. If you cancel, you must return the goods within 14 days of cancellation, complete with the original packaging. Do not return any goods to our registered address at The Stables, Top Barn Business Centre, Holt Heath, Worcester WR6 6NH. Goods are manufactured at various locations within the UK and you will be informed of the returns address and reference when your cancellation request is received. All goods are to be returned at your own expense. You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage.
  5. If you fail to return the goods, we will collect them, and we will charge you the direct cost of collection. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.
  6. In some cases there will also be an additional re-stocking charge.
  7. Provided the goods are received in re-saleable condition, we will refund all monies paid to us by you including the cost of sending the item to you within 30 days, less any collection and re-stocking charges incurred.

Cancellation and Returns – Trade and Business Customers

  1. Orders may not be cancelled except with our mutual agreement and having been confirmed in writing by a Director of our company. We reserve the right to make cancellation and/or re-stocking charges.
  2. Claims for missing or damaged items must be made within 2 days of delivery.
  3. If Advantage agree to the return of goods, items are to be returned complete with the original packaging. Do not return any goods to our registered address at The Stables, Top Barn Business Centre, Holt Heath, Worcester WR6 6NH. Goods are manufactured at various locations within the UK and you will be informed of the returns address and reference when your cancellation request is received. All goods are to be returned at your own expense. You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage.
  4. If you fail to return the goods, we will collect them, and we will charge you the direct cost of collection and a £10.00 administration fee. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.
  5. In some cases there will also be an additional re-stocking charge.
  6. Provided the goods are received in re-saleable condition, we will refund all monies paid to us by you including the cost of sending the item to you within 30 days, less any costs due under this contract.

These cancellation policies do not affect your legal rights – for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

Faulty Goods

  1. If there is a problem with the goods, please notify us by email or in writing providing details of the problem. It is helpful if you can provide us with a digital photograph of the problem as this normally saves you having to return the goods for inspection. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.
  2. All goods are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty against faulty workmanship and materials, subject to the terms and conditions of that warranty.
  3. The manufacturer’s warranty is provided in addition to the rights that the law says you have as a consumer and accordingly, your statutory rights are not affected.
  4. If an exchange is necessary, this will be arranged without unreasonable delay and without charge. Replacement goods will not be dispatched until the original goods have been received at our warehouse and checked.The cost of returning goods to us is your responsibility, however on inspection we will refund your reasonable postage costs, providing that the goods are found to be faulty. If the goods are not faulty, we will return them to you, however you will be required to cover our reasonable postage costs.
